I am a second-year MS student in the department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at the University of Connecticut. I am currently working in the Caira Lab on the taxonomy and morphology of a group in the tapeworm order, "Tetraphyllidea." I am interested in tapeworm taxonomy, morphology, and life cycles.

I obtained a BS in Pathobiology and a BS in Nutritional Sciences from the University of Connecticut. I conducted research with Dr. Alfredo Angeles-Boza in the Chemistry Department where I was investigating metal-binding antimicrobial peptides as potential novel antibiotics.
